Sandy Plains Road Pedestrian Bridge Location: Cobb County, Georgia Owner/Customer: Cobb County, Georgia Project Description: Erection of a new concrete pedestrian bridge spanning Sandy Plains Road, providing pedestrian passage from the East Cobb Aquatic Center to Cobb County Library, Mountainview Branch; the structure includes a 115 foot pre-stressed concrete girder supported mainspan covered with a steel roof, 309 feet of elevated poured-in-place concrete walkway approaches; the project also includes 945 feet of concrete sidewalk, a granite faced wall, and two cast-in-place concrete stairwells. |
