Jefferson By-Pass Location: Jackson County, Georgia Owner/Customer: Georgia Department of Transportation Construction of a new by-pass around Jefferson, Georgia; construction of 12.2 kilometers of new four-lane divided, concrete paved highway, beginning at C.R. 105 and extending east of S.R. 11/U.S. 129; construction of new twin bridges over an existing CSX railroad line; construction of multiple concrete box culverts, concrete ditch paving/ flumes and numerous intersections as integral parts of the by-pass. |
