I-85 Weigh Station Location: Franklin County, Georgia Owner/Customer: Georgia Department of Transportation Project Description: Construction of two new weigh stations, northbound and southbound, on I-85 near Lavonia, Georgia; demolition of existing facilities and stage construction of new facilities; total replacement of all ramps and staging areas with new full depth concrete pavement sections; installation of new scales; installation and implementation of new technology systems for D.O.T. compliance of loads and thru-traffic monitoring including the training of D.O.T. personnel. |
