I-85 at Old Peachtree Road Interchange Location: Gwinnett County, Georgia Owner/Customer: Georgia Department of Transportation Project Description: 5.6 miles of construction including the complete interchange reconstruction at I-85 and Old Peachtree Road; demolition of the existing bridge over I-85 and stage construction of the new four-lane bridge in its place; construction of two additional bridges on the north and south bound ramps, numerous reinforced earth walls and a new collector-distributor road system tying I-85 into the Old Peachtree Road interchange; complete milling and resurfacing of I-85 mainline from south of S.R. 316 to Sugarloaf Parkway. |
